Hi, I’m Santina Bari

We’ve all heard the line “I grew up in the business.”

Well, I was born into it.

NYC’s Ray Bari Pizza—you know the iconic scene in Friends where Rachel is fighting over a pizza box? That’s the one! That was my family’s life and identity. From humble beginnings, our pizzerias grew to the point where we established a centralized commissary outlet, a warehouse, and real estate across the city.

Before, during, and after graduating from Long Island University with a degree in business management, I spent my career working in all these businesses. Front of house, server, kitchens, front end manager, office manager. I did it all. Over time, my career evolved into real estate management. Every step of the way, I was learning about work, life, and the impact running a business can have on your family.

Fast forward 30-plus years, I founded and operated Tutuma Social Club, an Afro-Peruvian restaurant and jazz club. The first of it’s kind in NYC. The club and our reservoir of musicians hosted events in restaurants and venues all over NYC. From there, I moved on to general manger for one of the largest and most successful family-owned businesses in town.

Throughout my career, I’ve had ups and downs.

I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t

I’ve strategized with musicians, designers, professional organizers, and financial managers.

Now, I want to make my experience work for you as you navigate your own small business journey.
